This account is separate from any WattleAddr API account.
We collect your email, name and password (stored as a hash), the IP address and browser used to sign in or to ask for a reset or confirmation link to keep your account secure, the email addresses of people you invite, and a record that you accepted the Terms. We also record the steps you take to sign up and buy (sign-up completed, email verified, firm created, invitation sent and accepted, invoice issued, invoice paid, free trial started). Each has a time and, once your firm exists, a one-way reference to it. We keep these records for 30 days, and WattleAddr Property keeps its copy for 13 months. If you came from a free check, we keep a random reference for that check with your account until you create a firm, and for 30 days at most. When your firm buys reports we also collect its legal name, ABN and billing email to issue tax invoices. If you ask for a refund we collect the bank account name, BSB and account number to pay it, and delete them once the refund is paid, declined or withdrawn (we keep the last 3 digits so you can recognise the account). If a request is still waiting 90 days after you gave the details, we delete them and ask you for them again, unless we have started the transfer to it. We use these only to pay your refund. Backups keep a copy for up to 14 days, then it is gone. Card payments are processed by Pinch; card details go to Pinch, not to us. When you type an address in the console we send what you type to our address service (WattleAddr, in Australia) to suggest matches, and check whether a report is available. We do not keep what you type in the console. See the WattleAddr Property privacy page.
